Wish Tree help needed!
One of our scholarship partners, Georgia United Credit Union, needs our help in their Wish Tree efforts to sponsor children through the DeKalb Family & Children Services (DDFCS) by providing new toys.
The GUCU Clarkston branch, right across the street from our Clarkston campus, still has tags on their tree! Won't you stop by 500 N. Indian Creek Drive and provide toys requested by the children on the tree's ornament tags?

New, unwrapped toys are due to the credit union by Wednesday, December 11.

GPTC Fleet Vehicles & Liability

What's covered? What's not?
Informational video links below:
Important Information regarding when you are covered:
For the purpose of Liability Insurance, all state vehicles are uninsured. Instead, we insure state employees, but only while performing their official duties. So, if you use the vehicle while doing personal business, the state does not cover you and, should you have an accident, you would be personally responsible for all damages and injuries you cause.
NEW State Fuel Card Standards and Guidelines
The Office of Fleet Management in Partnership with the Office of Planning and Budget has made some revisions to the Statewide Fuel Card Standards & Guidelines, effective July 1, 2019. As a registered fleet vehicle driver and user of the WEX fuel-card, each of you MUST complete the acknowledgement of the new statewide standards & guidelines for your PIN to remain active. To allow ample time for compliance, The Office of Fleet Management has allowed 120 days to have all current drivers complete the online fuel card training (video) and acknowledgement. The deadline for all current drivers to meet the new requirement is January 28, 2020. After the 120 day time period has ended, fuel card PINS of all current drivers who have not completed the acknowledgement will be terminated. Effective October 1, 2019 any new state employee who will be driving a state vehicle and using the state fuel card will be required to complete the acknowledgement prior to receiving a fuel card PIN number.
Click here to access to the training and acknowledgement that is now available on the DOAS website:
https://service.doas.ga.gov/app/answers/fuelcard/a_id/1496
After completing the training, please print and save a copy of your completion certificate. Scan and email your completion certificate to Cheryl Adams in the Facilities office at adamsc@gptc.edu
